Clouds & smoke

Hi, im watching your GREAT dvds and for my work projects i would like to do some clouds like the one you used in the "image replacement" dvd.. but they were done in maya. Im sure that 3d particles is the way to do it in fusion (they should be real 3d clouds.. volumetric) but i dont really know how to do it so pls pls tell me.

thanks very much and keep on those dvds!

Fusion doesn't create volumetrics, sorry bud. If you have access to a 3D app such as cinema 4D or 3ds max I'd be more than willing to help you build your scene though.

If you're deadset on using fusing, check this out:

3ds max + afterburn will easily generate clouds, if you have both the application and the afterburn plugin, i'd be more than happy to tell you how to achieve the effect.
