Houdini DVD A-ZI wonder if Cmi will ever do a A-Z training (in extreme detail) over Houdini because no one has any traning over it what so ever 2 dvd's from Gnoman and what 2-3 from CMI. Tho some say everyone is waiting for H 9 to come out before they do any training. Will see.

About H9.
Our next DVD will still be done on H8 and most likely will the 2 remaining L-system DVDs.
H9 is in alpha version right now. There's some time before anyone has it.
But we will be there as soon as H9 is released.
About doing training from A to Z. This is our policy!
Our upcoming DVD about VEX will adress beginners and advanced. It will be EXTREMELY detailed, because it's intended to be some REFERENCE material and we cannot afford to leave any hole anywhere. The existing demo is so scarce.

Thats good news for me anyways because i am sitting on 2,000 i wanted to give to chris for H training for me and only me from A to Z. I go out friday for 28 more days to get another 2,000. He does not make models any more either to bad. I am going to wait and see just how detailed these CMI dvds are going to be. I would pay now but i would be paying the 2,000 for A-z training and everyone else would pay 400 bux so I am waiting. When you new dvd's come out maybe you can do some training dvd's for me for 2,000. I wonder how much video i can get for that?

I hope you mean the whole program from A-Z and not just a part of it. I mean i want to learn it but i don't even know what a polygon is. I mean i do but like UV nerbs and all that good stuff the whole program thats why i am sitting on my 2k right now. I don't want just a part of the program i want the whole thing.

the futurein a future phase of our cmiPlayer we will hold some live streaming classes for specific classes. Its going to be a while. cmi and all of its parts are slammed with work 24 / 7. this is a big year for us, and its getting even bigger every day that goes by.
We wont charge you 2k for the online classes that come out. We will leave the high prices to those other guys. It will be priced appropriately.

eventuallywhen we get all the technology figured out.. BUT it will be super dependant on fast connections of internet. So there will have to be some sort of test to see if you qualify.

rendering, materials and lighting ... that's what I want to see
i know how to model/animated i know dops/pops etc (well the basics at least  ) the problem is what is it all about if you can't render it out properly.
