I might be over analyzing this but it seems somewhat simple to do in Houdini. Use cops to get your image, create your lines in sop context, use the point sop to generate the color. use chops on the lines lengt |

bingosteve,this is 1 out of the 2 ways i would approach it. its all chops work in my opinion. ALTERNATIVELY, i suppose crafty mograph work with projections might be the fastest way to get to screen at first. Maybe not as versatile.. but definately the EASIEST way. Of course you can use AIFF extract or some other sparks in flame to adjust for an expressions to animate linear shapes.. and also do some parent projections. But if your really intrested in this kind of thing.. houdini CHOPs.. bar none. |
