I supose that you saw "tutorials poll" topic on odforce, so after those two fundamentals videos what you plan to do next ? How many videos you plan to release till the end of this year ?

Hi Swann,
Of course i regularly watch the tutorials poll.
Many different demands, many different topics. A big need for advanced stuff.
We need to carefully choose the topics, for instance, we won't release yet another video on Rigid Bodies lol, after the old Gnomon one, the new DT one, and the new 3dbuzz one. ( plus we actually released a freebie on fracture when DOPs weren't invented yet in Houdini).
We don't want to do the same that the other, it's not useful for the users, and want to INNOVATE:
I'm currently preparing several 2-3 days courses in United States on advanced volumetric rendering and simulation ( clouds and explosions, with a particular care brought to rendering, yes RENDERING). This will be for advanced users and will fill a big gap in Houdini i guess:)
Stay tuned

Hi David,
It's wonderful to hear about new training coming up. I did receive the email notice about the class in New York. I would love to attend but it's on the other coast! I was wondering if the material presented there will find its way into a future training course or if you will be giving a similar class elsewhere, perhaps out here in LA. I've explored similar techniques in FumeFX as well as Dynamite for Lightwave and it would be awesome to learn how these are achieved in Houdini. Thanks.

where are you located?Do you want David to appear before your company in a group class? Or would you like to attend an external seminar on the west coast?

My company doesn't currently use Houdini. I'm trying to learn it well enough to see if we can fit it in to our pipeline. I was mostly wondering if there were any plans for a seminar out here on the west coast.
