REQ Tuts : VFX Interacting with real life footage ?

It seems that there will be lots of stuff coming from chris

I'm thinking one massive tutorial that really interested me A LOT ! i really mean A LOT and i'm willing to pay for it immediately.

There's no tutorial in this world shows how to do a live interaction between real people and CG stuff. I don't know if this is going to be software focus or more into in depth production. I prefer both, but let's the expert decide it. Example, something like Gollumn wrestling with Frodo, or Stuart Little interacting with the "kids" blanket, pull it, throw it whatever. (can't memorize the kids name).

I'm pretty sure all of this will depends on case by case project. But an intro until intermediate level is good enough. At least important messages are told.

What do you think chris ? Any possibilities ?

steve

God I would love something that deals with compositing a shot like that. Good request Rivai.

Even if it was something simple, a guy walking infront of a green screen and you composite it with a cg hallway or something, as simple as it sounds, I would definetly pay for this.

Composite in a hall way sounds easy actually. What comes difficult is when the guys actually interacting with the CG plate, that comes the magic.

Following your scenario for example. Let's a guy is walking in a hallway, a HUGE cg snake comes in and swallow him alive. How are you going to plan for this shot ? I believe this is going to be both in depth production and software focus. And i believe the hardware in production doesn't come cheap.

No words from Chris, he might not interested to do it.

You're obviously on a way higher level than me, for a still, a guy standing in a hallway would be pretty simple, but an animation, it would take me forever I'm sure Smile.
