Hello to anyone, i m new in this Forum, from Santiago, Chile.
You have very good tutorials, congratulation for this placed.
So, to the question. i allready used cinema 4d about a 4 years. And looking for a programs for post i found a After Effetcs. After effects i used since the version 6.0. I really like it.
Then i saw some examples that shows how to integrate both programas (C4D & AF7) i really amanzed. So, i begin to look tutorials that show this integration, but nothing really profound material.
So ask in here, any body that works with this two programas?, that can show me or explain me how this works, please. i allready saw all the material in the web, but i want some more accuracy, thanks for all.
( i want to knows how to used the multipass from cinema 4d to after effects)

Hi ,
The multi pass and that you can save aec are the main great features.
With this you can do a lot of great stuff and it's easy to do a lott in post .
If you go to your render settings in C4d go to multi pass and check it so it's on. Then you can add all the passes you need.
Then go to save , there you can save a composeting project file and you can choice what program Motion/After effect /Fusion.... Choice After effects and save . Render your stuff out and then go to AE .
Import the .aec file and then you have all your layers from the passes set and ready to go.
Now you can tweak all the layers and change things without render a new c4d project.
The key to this is that you understand multi pass and know what each layer does.
I hope this helps and if you have other things you want to know let us know .
