cmiVFX is no longer producing plastics for DVD's and packaging materials. Nor are we polluting the earthing by shipping packages in planes, trains or automobiles. We are now passing the savings along to you with lower prices for the same content via net delivery.
We have changed our colors from orange to green to celebrate the preservation of the plant. So hug a tree, do your part in getting our earth back to where it should be.
Things to come:
MANY MANY more features for the player.
- Chapter Markers
- User Bookmarks with Sticky notes
- Super fast downloads and interactive scrubbing of video
- Compatibility with several new browsers such as "flock"
- and an infinite amount of items based on user feedback in the future.
You wont pay anything extra. These are free upgrades to cmiPlayer customers FOR LIFE!

First of all going green is great idea! And if you do it where it's needed it's even better.
But, and here are my issues with this whole going DVD free thing:
- you need a kick ass internet connection, which is not trivial to get in a lot of places and not cheap
- when you want to watch your videos you have to have internet connection
- what happens if the company is not around anymore
- and you say "You wont pay anything extra", of course we pay since now we have to pay for a very fast internet connection
And how many trees we are really saving here????? |

There are alot of things planned for the future that you would not be able to tell.
Lets just say this, you will be able to get any videos you want on this system.
