Hi everyone,
I am currently working on a project with dpx log files....
No I was wondering how to deal with these files.
I do have suitable luts, but they are just for previewing the files,
and composing them with linear content.
Sofar I converted the files from log to lin, before composing them with lin data,
after that I converted them back to log with the same conversion settings and previewed that with my lut.
But If I do write out the dpx files it seems that the "below" 95 (blackpoint) and above 695 (whitepoint) data
seems to be gone.... I thought if I work in 32 bit float all the data is preserved?
Am I doing something wrong, or is there just no way to preserve the full quality of the dpx files...

Got it solved myself, had two lin2log conversion in a row, a cineon node and in the saver therefore the images looked strange.
